After spending time in Europe finishing my studies in Graphic Design, I went back to my birth town in El Salvador, I spent a couple of years traveling here and there until I moved to New York in 2013, without knowing I would build a career out of my wife’s Canon T3i, doing portraits and random weddings.

Once I realized what I wanted to do, I invested in a professional cinema camera and threw myself to the huge creator’s market that is in New York, and made my way up, from doing baby photos in a living room all the way to be the Creative Director for the ART Institute of New York, at the same time I was freelancing for different marketing agencies in the city like Revelations Group and Jellyfish, Directing and Editing content for different brands like Morgan Stanley, L’Orèal, REDKEN, Bioderma, Mizani, Weatherproof Vintage, and many others.

My photography work has been published in different magazines in the US and Europe, I’ve been recognized by the e-learning platform PHLEARN as a Fine Art Photographer, sharing my insights with other creatives on how I accomplished certain editorial stills.

In 2018, moving from New York to Austin TX, I started STLL Studios, in the role of Studio Director serving brands like L’Oréal, Morgan Stanley, Bioderma, and many others, winning different awards for our Documentary Series “Chasing Portraits” as also being Finalist at the AMY Awards 2022 by the American Marketing Association in Austin TX.

Now in Partnership with Precision Camera we’ll be offering hands-on different Workshops to the local creative community in Austin, truly excited to keep bringing brands and audiences together one story at a time.
